IXTETE SHIPPING POLICY (MEXICO)
Applies to alcohol purchases made via ixtete.com and shipped within Mexico
LEGAL COMPLIANCE & AGE RESTRICTIONS

IXTETE is a licensed seller of alcohol in Mexico.

Alcohol may only be sold and delivered to persons 18+.

By purchasing on our site, you confirm you are 18+ and agree to show valid, government-issued photo ID upon delivery.

The carrier may refuse delivery if:

The recipient cannot prove they are 18+, or
-
The recipient name does not match the order.

SHIPPING COVERAGE & RESTRICTIONS

We ship alcohol exclusively within Mexico.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military bases, or addresses outside Mexican territory.
-
Delivery may be restricted in certain regions where alcohol sales are regulated or prohibited.

If your address is ineligible, your order will be canceled and refunded.
DELIVERY PARTNERS

Shipments are handled by certified alcohol carriers (e.g., Estafeta, UPS, DHL Comercio Especial).

All packages include tracking until delivery is confirmed.
OPTIONAL SHIPPING INSURANCE & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers may purchase additional shipping insurance at checkout.
If the customer does not purchase this insurance, IXTETE will not be responsible for any:

Damage during transit

Broken bottles
-
Loss before delivery is confirmed

Theft occurring while the shipment is in carrier possession
Placing an order without insurance means the customer accepts full responsibility for all transit-related risks.
Uninsured shipments are not eligible for replacement, refund, or compensation.
SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY TIMES

Standard delivery time: 2–7 business days, depending on location.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on weight, region, and method.

Free shipping promotions do not apply to remote locations unless otherwise noted.
ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are processed within 2 business days of payment confirmation.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM (noon) will be processed the next business day.
-
Delays may occur due to holidays, high demand, weather, or carrier issues.

IXTETE is not liable for delays outside our control.
DELIVERY CONDITIONS

An adult (18+) must be present to receive the package and show valid ID.

Carriers attempt up to 3 deliveries.

If all attempts fail—or if delivery is refused due to ID issues—shipping and return costs will be deducted from any eligible refund.

After delivery is completed and signed for, IXTETE is no longer responsible for the package.
DAMAGED, BROKEN, OR MISSING ITEMS

Inspect your order at the moment of delivery.

If bottles are broken or items are missing, do NOT accept the package.

Ask the carrier to record the incident.
-
Notify us within 24 hours at soporte@ixtete.com, including photos.

Once verified, we will resend or refund affected items at our discretion.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

All shipments include tracking and insurance through the carrier.

If a package is declared lost, we will assist in filing the carrier claim.

IXTETE is not responsible for theft or loss after delivery is confirmed (e.g., packages left at doorsteps or with building staff).
WEATHER HOLDS
Shipments may be delayed during extreme heat or cold to protect product integrity.
IXTETE is not responsible for weather-related delays.
FORCE MAJEURE
IXTETE is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, transportation shutdowns, public emergencies, or strikes.
FRAUD & HIGH-RISK ORDERS

Orders flagged for unusual or high-risk activity may be held or canceled.

Customer identity verification may be required before shipment.
